Auditorium Seating for Lecture Halls, Theatres and Assembly Rooms
The right seat for an auditorium depends on how the room is used. A lecture hall needs a writing surface at every position. A theatre or cinema-style hall is better served by a folding seat with a cup holder and a clean plastic back. A seminar or conference room usually needs fewer rows and a more upholstered finish. Our range covers all three, across 33 models, so the specification can be matched to the room rather than the other way round.
Chairs are supplied in rows of two, three or four, with single seats available for gangway ends and short runs. Writing tablets are available as a flip-up tablet on the armrest, a tablet that folds away inside the armrest, or an under-seat tablet – the choice usually comes down to whether the room is used for exams as well as lectures. Fabric, PU and plastic-back finishes are available, and upholstery colour can be matched to your building.
These models are produced for us by an audited partner plant in the same Foshan supply base as our own factories, and are inspected before shipment. Where our own factories make the rest of a campus project – podiums, library and study furniture, training tables and classroom desks – a single hall or library scope can be sourced and shipped together, with one point of accountability.

What You Should Know Before You Specify
- Writing surface decides the room use. A flip-up armrest tablet suits exam seating and lectures; a tablet that folds inside the armrest keeps the aisle clear when the room is used for events; an under-seat tablet is the tidiest option when the seats are stacked close together.
- Rows of two, three or four. Unit cost rises as the row gets shorter, because each row still needs its own end standards. Single seats at gangway ends carry the highest unit cost, so keep gangway runs as short as the room allows.
- Upholstered or plastic back. Upholstered seats suit halls where comfort and finish matter; plastic-back seats with a folding pan are the practical choice for high-traffic theatres and multi-use rooms.
- Tender-spec models. Four models in the range (LY-1006, LY-1005, LY-1008, L26-1) are built to tender specifications – useful where the BOQ is written around a defined seat standard.
- Colour matching. Upholstery and frame finish can be matched to your building. Send a Pantone reference or a photograph of the room.

No – writing tablet type is fixed per model. Tell us whether you need a flip-up armrest tablet, an armrest-internal tablet or an under-seat tablet, and we will shortlist the models that fit.
